Friendly owner, great tasting Korean food, and love the interior floor seating. If you have young kids, floor seating rocks. We came around 3pm and my 19 month old loved running around the floor seating. Good thing we came at an odd hour so he didn't disturb anyone. There's a boba store next door. Free parking right behind the restaurant.
Menu seems to be Korean comfort food and drinking food with quite a vast array of different types of food. We had Galbi Tang (short rib soup) and Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi stew). Both excellent with short ribs fall of the bone tender. -

Basic home cooking if you are having soup and banchan.
Spicy beef soup is what I had ordered any it was spicy indeed. My stomach was boiling with the heat. The broth was lacking depth as I'm assuming it was sauces and a small amount of stock. Summer kimchi at present thus lacking depth in the cabbage kimchi. Seaweed salad and the well cooked rice was the highlight. Potato banchan was a bit undercooked and soup was bland. Probably come back and try the other dishes. -

This place is kind of a hidden gem because you can easily pass by here without realizing this was a restaurant.
Anyways, I came here with a couple of family members for a early lunch. I ordered this Donkatsu Jungsik (pork cutlet with donkatsu sauce and corn and salad). The food came out within a decent time, and in terms of tastes, pork cutlet was delicious and the salad was decent as well.
My family members ordered this beef stew thing and another that I can't remember the name of but they seemed to like it.
Honestly, I can definitely see me coming back here again but only if there's no other place else. -

I recommend to not go to this place ever. If you give less tip, the owner shows his irratation. Customer service is literally trash. He is so rude to customers, and he throws dishes on the table. When the table is crowded, he pushes the customer to put dishes on the table. Never give water before asking. Never going back, and not recommending anyone to go.

What's the perfect place to eat after a long day on the chilly slopes? Spicy House!
We arrived on a Friday night around 6pm. All the smaller tables were full but my group of 5 friends were directed to a large bench surrounded table, where you had to take your shoes off to sit in. It felt like eating at home!
We each ordered our own dishes - I decided on the Bulgogi Beef Soup ($14). My dish came out sizzling and bowling hot. There was tender and flavourful beef (I wish there was more), onions, green onions, carrots and chewy, slippery crystal noodles. The soup wasn't too salty or oily. The Japanese rice was hot and helped fill me up.
The ban-chan (side dishes) were good - sweetly marinated potatoes, savoury sweet bean sprouts, spicy kimchi, and crystal jelly.
Since I can't handle spicy foods, I can't review if Spicy House is really spicy. However, my friend stated his spicy dish was really hot but really good.
Last thing I want to note for this restaurant is the service. From what I could see, the wife was in the kitchen cooking up all this delicious food and the husband was handling the rest. So getting our water took a long time after we ordered, we were half way done eating our meal by the time we got our side dishes and getting refills of water and sides took several friendly waves. With all that said, we were in good spirits and we could tell the husband was working really hard and he didn't have a moments rest running between the 7-8 tables all asking for things too.
Overall, I wouldn't mind eating here again if I were nearby.
